Abstract

This study aims to investigate and improve Human Resources (HR) at Ganesha College of Economics (STIE), facing the demands of educational dynamics and the evolving needs of the job market. This research was carried out for two months from November to December 2023 to 50 participants consisting of lecturers, students and educators of STIE Ganesha. This research method uses a qualitative approach with SWOT analysis techniques (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) to assess strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats related to HR at STIE Ganesha. Data collection through interviews, observations and literature studies. This research is expected to produce a comprehensive picture of the condition of human resources at STIE Ganesha, with strategic recommendations to improve the quality of lecturers, develop curriculum, and increase student engagement. The results of the SWOT Analysis research obtained are Strengths: High quality of education, high solidarity and high social awareness, Ability to market products appropriately and expand networks. Weaknesses: Lack of skills and knowledge in certain fields, Lack of networking and participation in race activities, Easy stress when doing tasks at the same time. Opportunities: Scholarship and training programs that can improve the quality of educational human resources, competent and experienced human resources, cooperation with suppliers and supporting service providers. Threats: Competition with other educational institutions and changes in education regulations, Challenges in the face of competition and regulatory changes, Limitations in resources and increased requirements.
